Welcome to my E-Portfolio, where you will get some insights on the knowledge I have gained through my years of studying in the field of education. This will allow you to understand my teaching identity and my passion for teaching. This E-Portfolio is always going to be evolving, due to the skills I will acquire through more time in the domain! On average I update my website every 3 months, therefore you are welcome to come back anytime!

You will see that some pages of my E-Portfolio are written in English whilst some are written in French. This is to showcase my mastery of both languages.
About Me
My name is Camille Raymond, I am a 24 years old McGill student in the faculty of education. In april 2025, I am graduating in the B.Ed. Kindergarten/Elementary Pédagogie de l’Immersion Française (PIF) program. I love working with young children. From a young age, I have been surrounded by them through friends and family. I even create workbooks for my 6 year year old niece to help her learn her letters, numbers, and such!
I have a great love for children and I strongly believe that we can learn just as much from them as they can learn from us. I am also passionate about helping people. A few years ago I studied international development because I wanted to make a change in the world. However, I thought the program lacked human interactions and I had a hard time connecting with the subjects. After a while, I came to the realization that teaching IS the most impactful way for me to make a difference with others. Hence why I transitioned into this career.
I grew up in a small town in Mauricie, more precisely Shawinigan. I have always been very close with my family and my community. I genuinely love taking a part in various projects! I have always done projects in my community, whether they are fundraisers, science fairs, soup kitchen... It does not matter to me if the projects are big or small because I enjoy them all! As a result of this, I realized that I work very well with others and that I enjoy planning.
My family calls me, "Miss Checklist" because I always have multiple different plans and lists of things to do. For instance, whenever we plan an outing as a family, I am the one who takes everything in charge. I try to always have my ducks in a row!
Moreover, I am a very artistic person. I love sewing, painting, and even crochet! I have always dreamed of creating a class to teach younger kids about these arts that are not so common. Hence, this is something I would like to start in my future school.
At the moment I teach makeup classes online. I am employed by a cosmetic brand company. I love teaching tricks and answering questions.
